Welcome to our wedding!
We like to do things a bit different from everyone else and we hope that you will also find it a bit exciting and fun to celebrate us on our wedding day (even if it won't be a classic swedsih wedding with dinner a warm summer day in the swedish archipelago)
We are a bit mischievous and will not reveal the whole plan for the evening -
no matter how much you nag!
However, we would like to give you some information and tips before the wedding:
Dress
- Think party. Nightclub. Whatever you feel comfortable to dance in. Suit or shirt or T-shirt. Dress, jumpsuit or a glitter top. You decide as long as you promise that you will dance yourself sweaty in your clothes. And are dressed enough so you won't be embarressed in the church during the ceremony.
- We will get married in the winter. In Gothenburg. When the weather is at it's worst. So put on warm/rainproof/hurricane-friendly outerwear on top of your party clothes (We promise, however, that you won't have to be outside for more than 10-15 minutes during the evening).
The wedding ceremony
17:30 - Masthuggskyrkan, Storebackegatan 15, 413 18 Göteborg
- We will get married late, 5:30pm to be exact. So you will have time to sleep in and get pumped up before the evening. The church could not hold an evening wedding on any other date that was suitable, so the wedding will be held on Valentine's Day. Feel free to thank us afterwards because you didn't have to surprise your partner with a romantic date in the evening.
Food
- We will not offer any dinner. It may seem a bit stingy, but to be honest, the dinner usually isn't the most memorable part of a wedding, so we have chosen to skip it. Therefore, eat a hearty brunch/early dinner before the wedding, because you will need to have som food in your stomach before we start the evening!
- However, we will offer some form of classic drunk food halfway through the evening. So you can party on. After all, we're not 22 anymore, but on 2/14 - 2025, we want you to do your best to pretend thar we are.
Transportation/Parking
- We recommend that you take an Uber, get a ride with someone or take public transport to the church as there is limited parking. The nearest stop by bus is Fjällskolan and by tram Stigbergstorget. And don't worry about how you'll get to the party, we've got you covered ;).
Party
18:30-02:00 - The location is secret, but somewhere in the Gothenburg area.
- The party, which we have chosen to focus on, will hopefully be memorable, unlike the dunk food. Kind of like a whole evening with pre-party and nightclub, with great music, good drinks and a hell of a sound package. But better, because it will be like a private night club with the world's best people who we know will be real pumped up!
Speeches/Performances
- If you've managed to read this far, you've already understood that this night is about partying and not a regular wedding dinner. With that said, we would of course appricate if someone would like to give a speech, do a party trick or rip off a song on stage during the evening. In that case, please notify Daniel's sister Madeleine as soon as possible by email:

Wedding gifts
- YOLO. That's how we think and decided to burn most of our money on building a house and getting married in the same year. Nathalie likes to collect stuff, Daniel doesn't. To avoid a divorce, we therefore kindly but firmly decline any more items as a wedding gift but instead wish for a contribution to our honeymoon in the Philippines. We will have a board with "gift cards" for excursions, accommodation and restaurants where you as guests can choose to give us the equivalent value as a gift; for example, a snorkeling excursion to Tubbataha Reefs or a good drink on the beach in El Nido. Swish is king but money in an envelope works too. We are very grateful regardless.
Accommodation
- It will be possible to spend the night at a hotel near the party venue for long-distance guests and for those friends who wish to have a good hotel breakfast with Nathalie and Daniel the day after the wedding. We are still negotiating hotel prices, but expect between SEK 1500-2500 for a double room/night.
Let us know when you RSVP if you are interested in hotel rooms and we can help you book it a little later when we have received the final prices.
Children
- As you have hopefully have understood, this is not a child-friendly wedding. Mom and Dad will have many units of alcohol inside their body before the evening is over and the sound volume is not suitable for small ears. We therefore hope that you can all arrange a babysitter for the evening and preferably until 12:00 the day after so that everyone can party without anxiety until 02:00.
